Superintelligence refers to any intellect that dramatically exceeds the cognitive performance of the brightest and most gifted human minds in virtually every field, including scientific creativity, general wisdom, and social skills. It's not just about thinking faster; it implies a quality of thought, depth of understanding, and capacity for insight that would be as far beyond Albert Einstein or Leonardo da Vinci as their intellects are beyond that of a chimpanzee or perhaps even an ant.
